The Asian Journal of Qualitative Research (AJQR) publishes its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise stated, all articles published by AJQR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

This licence permits anyone to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These rights are granted provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made to the original material are clearly indicated.

Attribution Requirement

Users of AJQR articles must provide appropriate attribution to the original author(s) and the published article. Attribution should include, where reasonably possible:

Volume and issue information, where applicable

Author Rights

The CC BY 4.0 licence does not transfer copyright ownership from the author(s). Authors retain copyright in accordance with the journal's Copyright Policy.

Authors may share, distribute, deposit, reproduce, and reuse their published work in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 licence, subject to appropriate attribution and acknowledgement of the original publication.

Third-Party Material

Material included in an article that is not owned by the author(s) may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions. Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions for third-party material where required and for identifying any material that is subject to different licensing terms.

Where third-party material is excluded from the Creative Commons licence, the relevant copyright or licensing information should be clearly indicated in the article.

Commercial and Non-Commercial Reuse

The CC BY 4.0 licence permits both commercial and non-commercial reuse, provided that the conditions of the licence are followed and appropriate attribution is given.

Licence Information in Published Articles

The applicable Creative Commons licence will be clearly identified on the journal website and in the published article. Where applicable, the licence statement will provide a link to the official Creative Commons licence.

Licensing and Editorial Decisions

The licensing status of an article does not influence editorial decisions. Editorial decisions are based on the journal's editorial policies, peer-review process, scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and ethical requirements.

Licence Changes

AJQR does not normally change the licence applied to an article after publication. Any exceptional correction concerning licensing information will be clearly documented in the article record and publication history.
