Publication Ethics
Publishing Ethics
To ensure high-quality standards in research publications and to uphold ethical integrity in academic work, AJQR follows strict ethical guidelines for publishing. Our policies align with international ethical standards to maintain transparency, credibility, and the public’s trust in research findings.
Submission Declaration
By submitting an article to AJQR, the authors confirm that:
- The work has not been published previously (except as an abstract, lecture, or academic thesis).
- It is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- It has been approved for publication by all authors and any responsible institutional committee.
Use of Inclusive Language
AJQR promotes inclusive and respectful language that acknowledges diversity and avoids bias, stereotypes, or discriminatory expressions. Authors should ensure that their writing:
- Is free from assumptions about beliefs, culture, gender, race, ethnicity, or disabilities.
- Uses gender-neutral terms where possible (e.g., "authors" instead of "he/she").
- Avoids unnecessary references to personal attributes unless relevant to the research.
Author Contributions
To ensure transparency, authors should submit a contribution statement outlining their roles using the CRediT taxonomy, including:
- Conceptualization
- Data curation
- Formal analysis
- Funding acquisition
- Investigation
- Methodology
- Project administration
- Supervision
- Writing – Original Draft
- Writing – Review & Editing
Authorship Changes
Authors must finalize the list of contributors before submission. Any addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after submission requires approval from the Editor. Requests must include:
- A written explanation from the corresponding author.
- Written consent from all affected authors.
Changes after publication will only be considered in exceptional cases and may require a formal correction notice.
