Charges and Submission Process

Article Processing Charges:

The Asian Journal of Qualitative Research (AJQR) is committed to providing open access to its content. Article Processing Charges range between 20,000-25,000 PKR, with the lower limit applicable to the waiver policy.

Submission Process:

AJQR follows a streamlined and transparent submission process designed to facilitate the timely review and publication of manuscripts. Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system, which involves the following steps:

  1. Manuscript Preparation: Authors must format their manuscripts according to AJQR’s guidelines, ensuring compliance with formatting, referencing, and ethical standards.
  2. Online Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted via the AJQR online submission portal. Authors need to create an account, provide manuscript details, and upload required files.
  3. Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure manuscripts meet the journal’s basic requirements and scope.
  4. Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by qualified reviewers, who provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  5. Decision and Revision: Based on reviewer comments, the editorial team decides whether to accept, request minor/major revisions, or reject the manuscript. Authors may need to revise accordingly.
  6. Final Decision: After revisions, the manuscript undergoes a final review. If accepted, it moves to copyediting and typesetting.
  7. Publication: The finalized manuscript is published online in open-access format, ensuring free availability to the global academic community.

AJQR is dedicated to maintaining a fair, efficient, and transparent submission process to ensure the publication of high-quality qualitative research.
