Open Access and Copyright Policy

The Asian Journal of Qualitative Research (AJQR) retains a strong commitment to open access publishing, ensuring that all research is freely available to the public without barriers.

Copyright Retention & Publication Rights

The copyright of manuscripts published in AJQR remains with the respective author(s), with first publication rights granted to AJQR. The AJQR editorial team or any associated entity will not be responsible for any subsequent use of the author(s)' work. If necessary, it is the responsibility of the author(s) to take action in cases of copyright infringement.

Authors must permit third-party reuse of open-access articles under the terms of the journal's licensing policy. More details can be found on our Open Access page.

Creative Commons Licensing

AJQR operates under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International License, ensuring that published research remains accessible while protecting the rights of authors.

Commitment to Open Access

The AJQR Editorial Board is dedicated to advancing global knowledge sharing by providing unrestricted access to high-quality research. Aligning with the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) definition of open access, AJQR supports the principle that freely available research promotes greater scientific collaboration and innovation.

Under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International License, authors publishing in AJQR agree to the following conditions:

  • BY (Attribution): The original source must be properly credited.
  • NC (Non-Commercial): The content cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Authors retain their publication rights while allowing others to remix, adapt, and build upon their work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given. All users of AJQR content must acknowledge both the author(s) and the journal in their work.
